Damn. This is a *great* BTS documentary, which is why I sought it out from the library (still don’t own THE LAST JEDI but will someday). First, it’s nuts how bitter Mark Hamill is over the storyline for Luke… like holy shit he drops shade on Rian in every interview. It’s frustrating b/c I like Mark but goddamn dude. I’m sure it’s out there but I’d like to know what Mark wanted for the character.
Secondly, Daisy is fucking amazing. Radiant and full of life. I love her so much. Additionally, Kelly Tran is right there. Both brought the tears in these BTS sequences. Of course, the Carrie Fisher moments crushed me. These women are so great to see working their craft.
Plenty of wonderful stuff and I just wished this were twice as long to capture even more of this stuff. Now I want to watch TLJ again.
