Viewing Notes

This is an ideal Sunday afternoon documentary. Covers many of the touchstones throughout kung fu cinema from its origins to influences. Even if you’re familiar with most of this history it’s still nice to see all of it compiled here. Neat to see so many actors discuss their relationship to these films as well as working within this genre. Also had me wanting that proper Shaw Brothers documentary before the window closes (Golden Harvest, too). Hell, I’d take a doc focused on the just DTV era from the 80s thru the 90s.
