Viewing Notes

This was billed as a horror flick but it’s really a crime thriller with zero mystery bc the killer is out in the open and wants to be found. Had they done more with the ritualistic killings and really leaned into the South American folklore around said killer, this could’ve been a horror film. Still counting it but it’s not (but I could be persuaded).

At least it has tough cop Robert Forster and good detective Richard Roundtree.
