Holy crap. When this popped up in my TL I didn’t know it was a Denis Villeneuve joint. And even when his name appears in the opening credits, I was like “that ain’t the same Villeneuve.” Well it is and this is a cool short film he made over 10 years ago. The production value is off the chain great. I’m wondering the entire time, “who the hell has the coin to finance a short film like this…???” Oh snap. Denis Villeneuve does, apparently.
On YouTube and absolutely worth watching. This is the kind of thing you’d see before a movie at Fantastic Fest and be like, “I hope the feature is as good as that.”
