Viewing Notes

I think this is a horror movie… ? It does feature Erich von Stroheim as the mad scientist. So my rating is a bit reflective of the quality of the transfer on Prime (it ain’t good). First, it’s a Sprocket Films deal so 10+ minutes have been cut for Christian eyes. Second, it’s blown up to 16:9 from a 1.33:1 source. Third, there’s an ongoing “bass hum” on the audio that sounds like there’s a truck running outside my home (I had to pause it b/c I literally thought there was a bus or truck outside).

The movie is neat and deserves a better treatment. Not sure if there’s one out there but I’d love to see a good quality presentation of this.
