Viewing Notes

Really out of options as I’ve seen everything I wanted to see. Of course PARASITE opens Thursday when I’ll be out of town. :/

What’s up w/the animated Bigfoot/Yeti movies this year? I think this is the third one? It’s fine but a bit tiring to have the same templated story over and over and over. Like I could’ve told you this exact story once you gave me the characters.

Interesting they set this in China with a Chinese family yet the primary filmmakers are not Chinese. Curious how this performs over there and wonder if I would like it more with Mandarin dialogue. Maybe the only surprise in this film is that the Yeti has superpowers. Odd choice but okay.

I’m just happy Frank Welker wasn’t part of the voice cast.
