Viewing Notes

We discussed this flick (and its sequels) for a bit on the way to Nightmares. Was eager to check it out after returning. It’s a wild mashup of a few genres and makes for a decent watch, better than I expected knowing a little of the history. Even tho it’s this weird one location slasher flick w/the killer versus the bank robbers the sound cues are a direct ape of Carpenter’s Halloween. So much so I was wondering if this was supposed to be set during that time. I like this movie, warts and all. Now want to watch the sequel. Also want to read up more on the making of these.
