Wanted to watch the sequel but I thought I should watch this again since I haven’t seen it since the screening at Portage Theatre 7 years ago.
Seeing now on Blu I think I enjoy this film more. It looks really good and I wouldn’t mind owning it. Given this was made almost a decade ago the VFX look great. And even tho there’s a humorous tone throughout I appreciate they made this in earnest with real stakes and action yet tongue firmly planted in cheek. I watched the BTS featurette and it was cool to see the various aspects of the filmmaking and what was filmed where.
Now I’m looking forward to the sequel.
