Overview

Viewing Notes

So the projector blew up in the house for the Motherless Brooklyn screening. Not repairable so I walked into this screening 15min late. Sucks bc I’ve seen everything else playing except Midway but I’m doing that in Dolby tomorrow rather than see it here. Sigh

Times didn’t work for anything else I may have wanted to see again but even then ugh. So yeah watched this holiday flick I really didn’t care about. To be fair it’s better than most I watch during my Xmas run up but that’s only due to the quality of the actors here.

However, this is still a typical Xmas flick with such a telegraphed twist that is so easy to guess from the beginning. The immigration stuff is timely yet feels forced. Tbh this movie should’ve gone straight to Netflix or Hallmark.

I was happy to see Michelle Yeoh having fun.
