Viewing Notes

In viewing a bunch of Columbo episodes recently I discovered that there were a a few of the Warner Oland Charlie Chan films that I still have not seen (watched most of them earlier this year). Fortunately my library had a couple.

This is a p good Chan flick where French is actually spoken and the accents are good (unlike CC at the Olympics). Virginia Field is gorgeous and resembles a modern young actress that I can’t place. I like Luke Keye in this, too.

There’s a short doc on the dvd that’s a biography on Warner Oland that’s quite fascinating.
