Found another Columbo episode added as a movie to TMDb. (note: I will not add TV episodes as films to TMDb as I’m opposed to the notion; just logging the ones that already exist in TMDb as I cruise thru these seasons of Columbo)
I’m guessing this ep was added b/c Ted Post directed (Beneath the Planet of Apes, anyone???). Also stars Ricardo Montalban and a babyface A Martinez. I kinda love how these “name” actors guest star as the villain. Here it’s Montalban. Last night it was Eddie Albert. Earlier today it was Patrick O’Neal…. okay so he’s not a big name but whatever.
This episode is neat b/c Columbo is visiting Mexico on vacation w/this wife, who we never see. A murder happens and he’s on the case. And it’s a bullfighting murder! Anyways, it’s pretty good esp. to see Montalban chew some scenes. I think a year after this he went right to Fantasy Island?
