1970s sex comedies >>> 1980s sex comedies
Another one of those films that got a lot of chatter w/my friends… more so Xaviera Hollander bc that was the column in Penthouse. Anyways it’s fun to finally see this film even if the picture was squeezed on Prime (aside, one thing I loved about my original HD rear projection TV, you could adjust the aspect by stretching the image, which would come in handy these days). Also this must be an cable edit bc 12 or so minutes are cut. Not sure what they cut given what’s still quite explicit.
Very silly movie where Hollander is subpoena’d to Washington to testify for something dumb but reveals that her girls have been having private affairs w/some of the prominent figures in the room. So it flashes back to these moments with plenty of boobies.
I prefer these sex comedies over those in 80s because these are more fun and less male gaze and misogynistic. And I just enjoy the 70s aesthetic more.
