Really hate that Netflix defaults to the English dub. There isn’t that much dialogue so why not default to the original French language track?
This is a movie that initially I wondered if it would’ve been more fit for a short film format but magically it sustains the premise in a compelling way for a melancholic tale of separation and longing for togetherness in both literal and emotional ways. What I enjoyed the most is the camera angles used to provide a unique perspective following the dismembered hand and the parallel story of Naoufel.
