Viewing Notes

Welp here I am. Wanted to do the Gundam film tonight but don’t wanna miss the Bears/Cowboys game. Seen everything else or don’t want to see what I haven’t. :-/

Private screening plus has my girl Anya Taylor-Joy.

This movie is perfectly okay. Hard to do something like this in the shadow of the LEGO movies. This movie isn’t nearly as clever or funny. But it has its charms and I do like the setup with Anya’s character and her brother before they get sucked into this Playmobil world because it’s dark AF.

When they transform into the Playmobil figures and interact in this world, it’s fun. I’d love to see ATJ do more of these light-hearted kinds of roles in-between her serious characters.
