DKUTV kicked off their Christmas in Japan week and this was the first feature up on the schedule. It’s not so much a film but two standalone episodes that mirror each other in the story for each (they’re not part of any series; just these two episodes for the Itsudatte My Santa OVA). The story is about a teen boy who was born on Christmas Eve and named Santa so he has grown to hate the Christmas holiday. A teen girl Mai finds him and makes her mission to get him to change his attitude.
It’s p silly stuff. And very fan-service-y. The girls in the story are all part of a “Santa Helper” school and they’re tasked with delivering all the presents to those that still believe in Santa. Nothing I’d bother viewing again but at least I’ve officially started my Christmas viewing for this year.
