It’s Christmastime, and the Griswolds are preparing for a family seasonal celebration. But things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen, and their two kids. Clark’s continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going, knowing that his Christmas bonus is due soon.

Have never seen this on the big screen so why not.
Really love the shots of Mag Mile and Watertower. Cool to see the original Marshall Fields on State St. Definitely makes me nostalgic for those times I visited Chicago in the 80s.
Cracks me up that they borrowed a page from Halloween 78 with those outdoor scenes with mountains in the background (shot in Colorado but takes place in the Chicago burbs).
I’m happy that there are moments that still make me laugh.
