Viewing Notes

Roland Klick’s first film, a b&w short capturing a bustling city during Christmastime, teeters on avant-garde as the quick cuts of bizarre festive imagery is weaved into a child’s view of the holiday. The moving canvas distorts reality becoming something rather phantasmagoric. Quite perfect for the usual the Christmas anxieties.
