The film spans 30 years in Julieta’s life from a nostalgic 1985 where everything seems hopeful, to 2015 where her life appears to be beyond repair and she is on the verge of madness.

Another good Almodóvar! Really like both actresses that portray the same character in two different periods of her life.
Once again I love how Almodóvar set dresses the creative spaces and his flare for color. Wish the BTS feature was longer (it’s only 5 minutes or so). Neat to see staging and rigs used as well as hear him talk about the story.
