Viewing Notes

Second half the the Space Station Europa double feature on DKUTV tonight and one I did not want to miss!

This really is a fabulous disaster and very entertaining. Wish this would get its long overdue proper release with a commentary by Olivia Newton-John and other historians familiar with the production. It’s bananas that they vaulted this movie for forty years not allowing it to be seen.

I’d really like to watch a nice restored version. Such a wild trippy sci-fi flick that’s very much a product of its time. It has that Monkees / Beatles comedy vibe but lacks the execution. It’s bad but endearing. Olivia is so damn cute and wonderful as the glue between all the characters.
