Viewing Notes

For my 20 in 20 project. Lucy Liu is in this?! Oh Walton Goggins too?! Damn. Saw this on vhs probably in 2001 when I had that Blockbuster monthly deal and rented a movie per day. I recall very little about this movie.

This is really fun. I love the team-up with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. His character behavior (let’s be real; he’s just doing his same Owen Wilson schtick) is so anachronistic for the period but I dig it and it makes it all the more funnier. Some good setpieces and Jackie doing a few of his stunts. Wouldn’t mind owning this 2-film set for the extra features.
