On an isolated island in Brittany at the end of the eighteenth century, a female painter is obliged to paint a wedding portrait of a young woman.
Length 120 minutes
Tuesday member matinee is only $5.94 and this is one of three theaters in Chicago showing this (other two are River east and Arclight which are no bueno).
I hope that’s the last time I visit Cinemark Century in Evanston. I believe it’s impossible to see a film there in an empty or near empty theater at any time. Hopefully this film expands like Parasite did when I was last there so I can view it again.
This film is so fucking good. I need to see it again without the olds random talking, fiddling with hard candy wrappers and/or snoring. I have a lot of thoughts on the film but too annoyed to gather them now.
