Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it’s more like a vacation … until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk! His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope.

Viewing Notes

Said I wasn’t gonna do this anymore… should be interesting*. Also AMC Theatres: go fuck yourself.**

Holy smokes this is great!!! Guess I gotta start watching My Hero Academia now?

Also the Muvico has become a theater to only visit for the Dolby screen. They redid the seats and audio in the other screens but did nothing to improve the sound dampening insulation between screens. The sound bleeds so badly and is so distracting. I could hear the car alarm go off in THE INVISIBLE MAN next screen over. Sadly there’s nothing they can do at this point to fix this or at least that they would bother doing.

*going to see a feature film of an anime property I am not familiar with and/or have zero knowledge of the source material.

**AMC is running this as a standard release i.e. showtimes throughout the day every day at multiple theaters yet exclude it from AList? I have a feeling we will see more of this with limited release / foreign films. They also run their 20 minute trailer package before the movie so fuck off with that shit.
