Since LOVEBITES had to cancel their Nagoya concert due to the coronavirus they did another scheduled broadcast on YT this time for their 2018 concert in Shibuya. This one was at 4AM (6pm Tokyo time). This concert was originally released with their Clockwork Immortality album. Since I don’t have that I definitely had to tune in to see this performance.

I think I prefer the other concert they broadcast “Daughters of the Dawn” from 2019. That one is a little more polished. The super fast cuts in this concert really make this less appealing as the camera barely stays on any one member of the band for but a few seconds. Super annoying when you want to see Miyako or Midori while they are soloing. It’s weird too b/c you’d think they’d just want to focus on the guitar solo during the solo instead of jump around w/the cameras.

All that said, this is still a good concert film and I’m glad I had to chance to see it. These young women bring it and are seriously talented. Maybe someday I’ll be able to get their albums.
