I’m really happy that Shudder offers titles like this (not horror) among their usual horror / sci-fi fare. This is a crime drama that could be considered a dark comedy. A guy steals a million yuan (~$140K USD) from a gangster to pay for his girlfriend’s plastic surgery then a variety of questionable types go after him and trip over each other trying to retrieve the money. It’s good. I was totally on board in the first half then it started to lose me a bit as it was bringing these different threads together. Kinda reminded me of the more grimy, small Johnnie To flicks or perhaps something Miike would’ve done in the late 90s early 00s. Definitely worth a look.
