I dig this. Also sad to see Anton Yelchin. This short could be another one in the ANIMATRIX (even tho it’s not animation). It’s very similar to The Second Renaissance Part I where the robots are subject oppression and abuse until they decide to revolt against the humans. Solid CG for most of it, too.
