Basically a highlight reel for Tom Savini to wax poetic about his life. Lots of old photos and footage of his early work as he shares the stories thru each stage in his life while not to come off too much of a braggart. Steers clear of any controversial subjects and glosses over most personal issues but still acknowledges the divorces and custody battles.
For touching all so many aspects of Savini’s long career, this is fine. Just don’t expect any illuminating discussion or opinions. Of course they filmmakers are gonna frame Savini as the model horror celebrity despite all the stories that say otherwise, which is fine. It just would’ve been nice for Tom to say even once that maybe he hasn’t always been a nice guy. Esp. when you have a perfect setup w/Alice Cooper in film… “no more Mr. Nice Guy.”
