Viewing Notes

When I saw this title pop up on my TL numerous times yesterday I figured why not give it a go. With a description so ridiculous how could i resist. And yes it totally delivers on that premise with Bruce Leong as Bruce Lee fight with and against a bevy of popular cinema characters including a young Eric Tsang as Popeye. This is very corny yet amusing for actually going for it w/all these characters (James Bond, Man With No Name aka Goldie aka Clint Eastwood, Dracula, Zatoichi, One Armed Swordsman, etc.).

The transfer on Prime isn’t so hot plus it’s a Sprocket title (tho the topless bathing beauties are present). It’s still very watchable and silly. Apparently Eric Tsang was also an assistant director and producer on the film!
