Viewing Notes

This is the second of two BABYMETAL concerts did in 2016 to finish their 2016 world tour. Both were held at the TokyoDome in front of 110,000 fans. Because of the pandemic BabyMetal offered both concerts on YT for a special broadcast (then available for 24hrs afterwards). I stayed up until 6am to view this w/the live chat, which was bonkers b/c there were so many ppl viewing the feed and sharing comments.

This second show, BLACK NIGHT, was a better concert that the previous RED NIGHT, IMO. Thought it was filmed better plus had a better entrance w/the girls entering the stage on large crucifix a la Jesus (perfect for Easter weekend!). The song list was completely different but solid w/greater range for each of the members. The Kami Band solo performance was really great.

After the concert I stayed up to join SAKI’s live TwitCast (SAKI, guitarist of Mary’s Blood) because she wanted to talk about being at the BabyMetal concert. That was really fun listening to her. Then she started composing a new song, which was nice to watch.
