Viewing Notes

Local acquaintance Paul set up a Kast watch party featuring a load of sports oddities (shorts, commercials, cartoons, etc.) for a pre-show of 2 hours prior to this movie. Watched all of that while making/eating dinner (basically like a NightFlight episode dedicated to weird sports clips. Then we got the first feature film, RACQUET, which is about a tennis pro trying to buy his own court in Beverly Hills. It has a crazy late 70s cast! Seems like Bert Convy was in everything when I was a kid. Sad that he died at 57 years old.

Not a good movie by any stretch but certainly fun for being a product of its time (so many 70s references!). Also fun to watch w/a big group with several making some amusing comments during the movie (in the live chat feature).
