For National Canada Film Day, Black Fawn Distribution is hosting a triple feature of recent Canadian horror films on their twitch stream. Decided to check for at least the first one to support them (I guess I’m supporting them?).
I like kooky concepts esp. when they’re approached seriously. This one, a killer bed, is perfectly fine. The cursed bed traps its victims on the bed and should they leave, they will die in a gruesome fashion. It’s pretty damn hilarious when one character has to explain to another character over the phone “I am stuck on a bed and if I try to leave I will die.” Paraphrasing but it’s very much that kind of movie. Great VFX w/plenty of blood.
Discovered it’s on Amazon Prime.
