Kanopy really does have a rich catalog of short film content. I could probably watch it all if not for the limited amount of credits available per month.

This short reminds me a lot of the type of weird crazy stuff you’d often see in the Spike & Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festivals back in the early / mid-90s. I think the last one I attended was in Redondo Beach when I visiting my sister. There was a small theater that was hosting the festival. This was probably in 1996.

Anyways, this short film has that type of wild energy and trippy visuals. Kid obsessed with a VR game daydreams about the game and can’t distinguish between the game and reality until a female classmate helps him shake out of it.
