Wonder if Stan Lee was influenced by the Quatermass stories. This was movie #1 in a Quatermass double feature for Space Station Europa on DKUTV. Hadn’t seen this one so I definitely wanted to tune in. This one I like the most of all the Quatermass films I’ve seen. It’s a simple tale but effective. Another later film THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN also borrows the premise. I know there are others but that one sprung to mind first.
