This is about a motorcycle gang that splits up after one of their members is killed. They each go off to make a different life and the movie centers around the 1-year anniversary of their friend’s death. This feels like a response to all the Japanese gang movies produced in the 70s. Like, yeah isn’t that lifestyle so crazy and carefree but here’s reality, bucko. You grow up and find yourself at the mercy of The Man or still living in a nostalgia dream.
DKUTV programmed this as part of their weekly late, late Japanese Sinema feature so after hours viewing. And it aired super late (or early this morning) and I was so tired after the School’s Out watch party. Altho I got the general gist of what was happening I would like to watch this again, preferably not in the wee hours of the morning.
Worth noting that I used the Twitch stream for this broadcast again and it is so much better than the other two platforms. The PQ was really good on my TV.
