Viewing Notes

Glad this is on VUDU so I can prep for the CFF event with Dickerson and Ice T. This has always been one of those movies that I feel like I’ve seen bc it was always on cable back in the day. But turns out that I have not seen it until now. It’s a pretty fun take on the most dangerous game all shot on location in Washington. It does feel stretched even tho it’s a 92 minute runtime. I was expecting Mason (Ice T) to be some ex-military special forces dude so I’m glad that wasn’t the case. Yet he does have some knowledge based on being a mechanic.

The wilderness setting makes sense for this story but I feel like how it was shot that it would’ve been better in an urban environment. It was nuts to see Ice T in rapids after he jumps off the cliff. I do love that he was the lead in this which I can’t recall another film with Ice T as the lead (that I’ve seen). Looking forward to the discussion about this movie.
