Viewing Notes
Back on my bullshit. I like this movie a little less than I did when I first saw it. There’s some cool ideas here (love the clone experiments) but I dislike the rage zombies. Also realized that the idea of the entire world drying up seems a bit extreme even in this RE universe. Of course some of that is dispelled in the following movie. What I like the most is Alice getting activated and becoming even more of a badass. Oh, I like Claire Redfield, too.
Interesting that this RE revisit I’ve enjoyed APOCALYPSE more and EXTINCTION less. Next is AFTERLIFE, which I hated when I saw it in 3D at the theater.
Worth noting that the audio on the Netflix stream is lousy. Probably should’ve gotten out the Blu but I was already in Netflix so ah well. I’ll bust out the Blu for the next movie.
