This screened at FF2019 and I skipped it because I knew I’d eventually get the chance to see it. It’s by the same filmmakers behind BATTERY and TEX MONTANA so you know the type of film this is gonna be. It’s mostly drama involving the relationship between Brea Grant and Jeremy Gardner. Gardner portrays a guy who becomes obsessed with “monster” he believes exists outside their rural home. This obsession strains their marriage.
This is a pretty good movie that breezes by as we wonder if there really is a monster (no one else believes him). Justin Benson appears again! He has a more substantial role as a local cop. Also Henry Zebrowski is here who I last saw in CONSPIRACY CRUISE.
