Viewing Notes

In the Saturday “After Hours” slot on DKUTV. Always happy when they program a Shaw Brothers flick I haven’t seen (or one that isn’t as readily available). This horror flick has one of the more bizarre plots where a guy who is a vampire visits a hair salon then convinces his hairdresser to come to his office to get fitted for contact lens b/c he’s also an optometrist (!). He then proceeds to control the woman thru the lens (she’s not able to remove them).

Not so much batshit as it is nutty esp. b/c no one believes her when she tells them that this guy is a vampire despite the fact that he’s draining her life essence and she looks like hell as the days pass.

This isn’t as good as the other Shaw horror flicks I’ve seen but it’s absolutely watchable and weird. Also worth noting that since DKUTV started using Twitch as another broadcast platform the PQ has improved immensely. This looked as good as any of the Shaw flicks featured on Prime.
