Viewing Notes

Was hoping for another giallo but this isn’t that as the killer is revealed in the opening sequence. The rest of the movie is a rather convoluted plot to finally reach the conclusion that yes this is the killer. And it involves a stolen diamond necklace and a bevy of beauties including Anita Ekberg who has a body double during one scene. This is fine despite the overwrought story machinations.

I like seeing Adolfo Celi (Largo from THUNDERBALL) here as the professor. With the weird premise w/the deranged artist and the paintings they could’ve gone full giallo with a few structural changes (not revealing the killer upfront for starters). I think it would’ve been more interesting.
