Overview
Heidi, the star of the “Meet The Feebles Variety Hour” discovers her lover Bletch, The Walrus, is cheating on her. And with all the world waiting for the show, the assorted co-stars must contend with drug addiction, extortion, robbery, disease, drug dealing, and murder.

Viewing Notes
Cinematic Void chose this flick for its Friday night Cinemadness feature. I haven’t seen it so I was game esp. since it was early in the morning and it seemed like the thing for Saturday AM. Totally get why this has a reputation and a cult following of sorts. However, viewing this for the first time now probably doesn’t carry quite the same dark comedy impact it had 31 years ago on the heels of The Muppets popularity. Some fun gags here and there but overall a little too dopey for my tastes. It did make me want to revisit BAD TASTE which I haven’t seen since we watched it at Ron’s for a movie night years ago.
