Viewing Notes

This is pretty neat. Not exactly a silent film by definition but it still works like one with no dialogue and only a score and sound FX. I didn’t realize Jean-Pierre Jeunet was making films this early on but I probably should’ve known that. Same with Marc Caro. Plenty of their style and visual flare on display (both also act in this). Of course you could pair this with any horror bunker flick but it’d also go well with TETSUO: THE IRON MAN and similar films.

Of course now I’d like to revisit Jeunet films. Ack.
