The universe does not care. The abyss is stupid. Narrated by author Bracken MacLeod, this Herzog-inspired fever dream uses 100% stock footage to reflect on the banality of existence.

This was the third short film in the Horrible Imaginings block for LockdownCon Film Festival (the second short isn’t in TMDb or IMDb and was under 2 minutes so I’m not gonna add it but it was a cute animated short featuring Gingerbread men in a Game of Thrones scenario called GINGERFALL: RECKONING).
This short is another by Izzy Lee who always has her work pop up at film fests. Seems like every fest I’ve attended in the last 6 years has featured one of her short films. This one is way different than her other narrative work. It’s like a mockumentary on a Werner Herzog documentary. It’s absurd and amusing.
