Viewing Notes

First film in Paul’s watch party for Pride Month. Theme is “filth” for this installment. This is a seedy NYC drama that slowly becomes a thriller along the lines of LOOKING FOR MISTER GOODBAR. Not as good but still a wild flick as this woman Monique marries the wrong guy and finds herself in some sketchy situations. Florence Giorgetti (Monique) is also in Knife+Heart and this film likely inspired some of that movie, a lot of parallels.

Goddamn am I tired of updating the poster image at TMDB. So annoyed with them.
