Viewing Notes

Was pretty stoked to see an unseen Suzuki flick on DKUTV’s weekend schedule! Not sure if this title has been given a decent release but if not that’s a shame b/c this is one of the best Suzuki films I’ve watched (of 23 total). The description is a tad misleading b/c these brothers are children at the start of the film when their father is murdered. Then they just grew up leading different lives away from the life of crime. Yet like many gangster flicks both brothers find themselves back in the throes of the criminal underworld. I really love all the characters here and their struggles just trying to have a better life.

Would absolutely love to own this one and revisit on the regular.
