Viewing Notes

First film in Mike’s watch party on KAST this week. Always down for more Adolfo Celi (his character name is Engineer Nosferatu).

This is a very interesting film that has that off balance vibe where you don’t know what’s gonna happen next or where the story is going but something seems whack. I get the allegory of this conglomerate mogul (Celi) and his global enterprise being the vampire preying on the consumers. But he may also be a vampire? Definitely some Jean Rollin mimicry on display. I dig the look and style a lot. Would like to see this again outside of a Kast broadcast.
