There are ppl that are BIG fans of this type of comedy. I am not one of them. That said, I do understand the appeal but I’m just not into dimwits bubbling around in the woods. There are exceptions as always (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) but mostly isn’t sub genre isn’t my bag.

Will give this flick credit; it does have heart and an earnestness that makes it watchable. Reminds me of the kind of weird indie films I’d find/rent back in the late 90s/early 00s, some I still haven’t been able to locate today. Oddly this movie had me thinking it would pair well with RESOLUTION. In fact, I would view this again with a crowd and with that movie.
