Viewing Notes

A not-so-good and in fact very bad sex comedy from Canada. Even painful to view in a watch party setting. Probably the only positive is learning that one of the women in a very bit part, a prostitute perhaps, is in another film called HOT DOG COPS so there’s that. It’s amazing that Mihalka’s follow-up movie was MY BLOODY VALENTINE. We saw him at the Portage Theater way back when.

At the drive-in the movie they are showing is KRAKATOA, EAST OF JAVA. You know, that drive-in staple in the late seventies over a decade after it was released. Maybe it’s a Canada thing? (the film was chosen for a specific scene that they could use for a gag but still is kinda nuts to think a whole town is gonna flock to the drive-in on a Saturday night for that movie)
