This is exactly the type of film I imagine when I think of VinSyn titles. Has that grimy cynical mean-spirited exploitive tone found in other similar 1970s titles. Everything feels off and uncomfortable. There’s not a likable character save for the abductee, who is merely an object here so there’s only sympathy. The entire finale is bananas.
This movie reminded me of a disturbing comic book story “A Taste of Cherry” by Hart D. Fisher under the Verotik imprint. Except his was much more violent and horrible, a truly vile story. This movie gave me a lot of the same feelings but fortunately not to same degree.
