Cookie is a teen runaway who escapes her abusive stepfather and heads for the Big Apple with her younger brother. When she arrives at the Port Authority bus terminal, Cookie meets a charming but sadistic pimp named Duke. With nowhere to go, Cookie is soon working for Duke, who introduces her to the harsh, brutal life of being a prostitute.

Viewing Notes
Melissa Leo’s first feature film role! Lots of amazing on-location footage of the old porn theater / red-light district in Manhattan. Love seeing that area shown in film. Always fun to see Julie Newmar but I feel like this movie is missing a Susan Tyrell. Also wish Antonio Fargas got more screentime.
I dunno who owns the rights to this now but this is another title that fit perfectly with VinSyn or MVD.
