Viewing Notes

Back on the Hogwarts train! It’s wild to have only my theatrical viewing logged here given that I know I’ve seen this a few times (besides reading the book and listening to the audio book). However, I clearly haven’t viewed this since I started tallying religiously so long overdue revisit.

A bit shocked that the RPat fans didn’t add him to the TMDb listing given how much Cedric Diggery appears in this film. I’ve seen credits given to other actors for a lot less screentime or in some cases, none at all (see RISE OF SKYWALKER).

Cho Chang really got done dirty in this. So many terrible plot points in this installment. I still miss Alan Rickman so much, tho.

I remember being very disappointed in this movie bc it cuts so much from the book but it still has plenty of nice moments that don’t get overshadowed by the dumb plotting. It’s just so odd how some characters barely appear in this movie like Draco Malfoy. Crazy that it took 6 movies for the studio to decide to split the story in half for two films. This is absolutely a book that needed more time to fully capture it all.
