Sun-baked rural redneck town with a single-minded war veteran at the center of the story that was popular in the late 70s into the early 80s. Here the veteran is David Carradine and his obsession is restoring an old merry-go-round in this small dirt town of mostly awful people. It’s fine as it plays out pretty much like you think it will. Of course the whole time I’m like “dude just leave that town and those assholes. Go anywhere else and start over!”
